Pizza Burgers

1 pound ground beef, browned and drained

1/3 cup diced green peppers, sautéed

1 cup diced celery, sautéed

1 pound American cheese, grated

2/3 cup pizza sauce

2/3 cup ketchup

½ package dry spaghetti sauce mix

8 hamburger buns

2 cup mozzarella cheese to top

 

Combine all ingredients, open buns flat on pan.  Scoop meat mixture on to each half of bun, flatten, and spread out to edges.  Top with mozzarella cheese.  Bake at 350F for 10 minutes


Haystacks

½ pound butter

4 cups sugar

¾ cup cocoa

1 cup milk

Combine in saucepan and boil for one minute; removce from heat

 

2 teaspoons vanilla

1 cup peanut butter

Stir into hot mixture until dissolved

 

3 to 4 cups oats (quick or instant)

Add oats until mixture will hold shape. Scoop by tablespoons onto waxed paper

Refrigerate


Peanut  Butter Balls (home size recipe)

 

Servings: 30

 

1 pound creamy peanut butter

½ cup floour

½ cup brown sugar

1 ¼ cups confectioner’s sugar

5/8 cup dry milk

1 teaspoon vanilla

Melted chocolate (almond bark) for drizzling

 

Put ingredients into mixer and mix thoroughly.  Do not overmix or dough will be shiny and tough.

 

Portion onto parchment lined baking sheets with a #40 scoop. Drizzle with melted chocolate. Refrigerate until serving time.
